    A Warm, Friendly Salon Offering All Aspects Of Hair, Beauty, Nails, Teeth Brightening & Aesthetics.

    What a journey of passion, growth, and transformation! What began as a six-month experiment has now blossomed into a 10-year legacy.

    We started small, with one cosy room and a dedicated team, and it worked! Within less than a year, we seized the opportunity to expand into larger premises, allowing us to grow as a team and welcome even more talent.

    Today, our family of talented stylists offers an array of services including hair, lashes, nails, waxing, and aesthetics.

    But that’s not all—Katie’s Beautique is also a training academy where you can learn all the skills you need in hairdressing, beauty, nail artistry, and more. Contact Katie Ray for more information.

Professional Hairdresser & Educator

With over 17 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, Katie is a highly skilled and passionate hairdresser, educator, and salon owner. Since beginning her career in 2007 at the age of 18, Katie has dedicated herself to mastering her craft, earning her Level 3 Hairdressing qualification and a teaching degree.

Katie specialises in weddings, hair-ups, balayage, and creative colour techniques, helping clients look and feel their best. Her passion for education extends beyond her own expertise—she loves to teach and inspire others, offering training in all aspects of hair and beauty.

In 2014, Katie took her career to the next level by opening her own salon. Since then, her business has flourished, growing from strength to strength with a talented team of professionals. She thrives on meeting new people, creating stunning transformations, and boosting her clients’ confidence.

Whether you’re looking for a bespoke bridal style, a fresh new colour, or expert training, Katie is committed to delivering excellence with a personal touch. She looks forward to welcoming new clients and continuing to share her passion for hairdressing and education.

Kim has been part of our salon family since she qualified as a stylist in 2015, and she’s an absolute colour expert!
Whether you’re dreaming of a bold transformation or the perfect natural blend, Kim knows how to bring your vision to life.

She loves meeting new people and making sure every client leaves feeling fabulous. Plus, when she’s not in the salon, she’s a busy mum of two!

You can find Kim in the salon every Friday—book in with her for your next color appointment! She can make other days or times by request.

Professional Lash Queen & Nail Technician 

Abby joined us in early 2024 and has flourished in our salon with a forever expanding clientele, She is our talented lash queen and aspiring nail technician!


Qualified in 2020, Abby expanded her expertise by adding brow services in 2023.

She is passionate about nail art—free hand drawn designs are her specialty—while also appreciating a simple, elegant, and classic design.

With her fun and bubbly personality, Abby loves meeting new clients and making them feel their absolute best.

 Sophie, our talented hairdresser, originally qualified in nails in 2017. Inspired by an amazing colour and cut she received at a well-known salon when she was 14, she knew from that moment she wanted to create similar experiences for others, allowing them to feel as beautiful as she did.

So in 2021, she successfully qualified as a hairdresser, following her passion.

Combining her background in nail artistry with her innovative hairstyling skills, Sophie is excited to help you look and feel your absolute best.

Tye began his journey in the hair industry at just 14 years old through work experience, and he’s been passionate about hair ever since. He qualified as a professional hairdresser in 2011.

After taking a career break, Tye is now returning to the salon to refresh his skills and gain up-to-date experience. His ultimate goal is to complete his Level 3 in Hairdressing and become a teacher in the industry.

To support his return, Tye is offering discounted prices and is currently available in the salon 1 day a week.

He’s excited to be back doing what he loves and looks forward to welcoming you to Katie’s Beautique.
